Question

Description

here were four (4) questions identified in this unit:

What is the importance of instructional documents in the workplace (in your field)?
What are the basic features of instructional documents?
How do graphics/visuals support the written text?
What is a usability test and what are the benefits of conducting a usability test?

This discussion should play out just like the others: The first 4 students (leads) should answer 1 of these questions.

Create a new thread for each of the 4 questions (please, Number the Question in the Name of the Thread and Use the Question as the Subject Line (can be an abbreviated version).

The rest of us (those who arrive fashionably late to the conversation) will choose one of the 4 discussions to join.

FORUM RULES:

If you are one of the lead students in the forum, choose a question (that has not been taken) and post an answer to it by creating a new thread. Use your own words to answer the question. Feel free to quote the textbook or other credible source and then discuss how that quote applies to your answer. You may also ask questions of your fellow students (it is a discussion forum, after all).
Late comers, like me, will choose a thread to join. We latecomers may choose more than 1 thread to join (but it is not required, nor will it gain you more points).
Post thoughtful, complete (but not wordy) replies to the lead student's post. Make sure your thoughts/ideas are clear to the reader (it's what this class is about).
You may subscribe to individual threads but not to the forum as a whole--too much to follow.
You may edit/delete your own comments that have not been commented on.

FORUM SUGGESTIONS:

acknowledge other communicators (especially the lead)
answer the questions in your own words
may quote the text in doing so
may quote other communicators
explain how the quoted material relates to your ideas
