Read Chapter 6 and pay particular attention to the following cases, Virginia v. Black (136-137), and Snyder v. Phelps (139-140).

1. What was the holding in each case? Did you agree or disagree with each holding? If you agree, explain in detail why the court came to that decision in each case. 2. What law(s) were used to decide each case? Did you agree with the use of the particular law(s) argued? Please explain thoroughly.
3. Do some background research online regarding the antics of the Westboro Baptist Church, and choose at least one article to review and summarize for this discussion board. Can you think of any legal arguments that might override Snyder v. Phelps today? Be thorough with your legal argument.
