1 Corinthians 6: 19-20 says, “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your body.”
- Discuss how God has made our bodies “perfect,” like a temple, and that no mistakes occurred with reference to the unique metabolic processes and physical design of our bodies. An example would be discussing the perfection of the interplay of the energy systems or the relationship between the percentage of fast twitch vs. slow twitch muscle fibers.
- Also, discuss how you can train your bodies in a manner as to would glorify Christ. Furthermore, explain why there is biblical truth to why we should take care of our bodies by living a healthy lifestyle.
