Hello here are some comments given by the professor regarding the annotated bib and research proposal that might help with the final draft

"You will need to define terms like "race consciousness" and how that could help, for example, the boy in Rivera's text who is seemingly expelled from school due to other people's racism.  I think you are on the right path, but be sure to define your terms and also clarify agency and what forces are at work in your sentences.  For example, in the last bibliographic entry you note that Gorski says "we have to eliminate all the factors that make them inferior compared to other races."  This seems to mean as phrased that Gorski is a racist who thinks that some races are indeed "inferior" to others.  If this is true, I would get rid of him as a source or at least treat his material as what is wrong with education in America.  But this may just be a problem with phrasing and  you may have meant to say something like Gorski wants us to "eliminate the factors that have made education for students of color inferior to that given to white students."  -- which is an idea I think we can get behind.
