Recently, there have been several incidents of aggressive verbal abuse levelled against immigrants living in Canada and the US that have been caught on video and posted to social media. Select and describe one of these incidents, then apply social information processing (SIP) theories to help to explain the case. In responding to a peer’s post, discuss ideas for changing or treating these errors/biases.
