Nursing during an epidemic,pandemic or natural disaster

Question

1. Nursing during an epidemic, pandemic or natural disaster across the country or around the globe. I chose this topic because it is something I can relate to and have seen in the hospital in clinicals. Almost every time I was in clinicals nurses were complaining about being short-staffed and tried to divide the workload evenly. "Working short-staffed is physically,mentally,  and emotionally draining  on the nurses on duty "(Caulfield, 2021). This is a problem because it exposes the nurses that are working to extreme fatigue and getting sick (Caulfield, 2021). This topic is important because it causes lower quality patient care and as nurses we always want to take best care of our patients.
