After reading over the course material and watching the John Green Crash Course video on the Industrial Revolution and its consequences, you may note that one of the most wide ranging social consequences was the destruction of the Artisan or Craftsman Class.  Read the document below in the module, "Testimony on the Impact of Mechanization."

Then, like last week, write a two page paper describing what the testimony says about HOW industry destroyed this group's livelihood, particularly note how industry impacted the process of manufacturing goods, how industry marginalized individual craftsman and perhaps most importantly, if you think this type of production is beneficial society, particularly as it relates to the contemporary world.
