Topic: History of Aviation in America: Impacts of Air Warfare in WWI
Research Question: How were aircraft developed and used as well as their impacts and contribution in WWI?
Thesis Statement (please incorporate this thesis into the paper and you may revise if needed, thanks): Into WWI, aircraft technology was very much in its infancy, so the planes were not vigorous enough to effectively carry out some of the missions that were common later in WWII. Throughout WWI, aircraft endured the experimentation and exploration of military technologies and the development of tactics to utilize them better. Air warfare played a fundamental role in WWI, which also contribute to the triumph of WWII through the tactics developed. This paper aims to showcase the impact of aerial warfare through history, science, and technology, such as how they were developed into aerial reconnaissance for tactical operations and used to support ground troops.
