Pick a very specific topic from history you will be discussing such as a historical myth that is believed today, dealing with any historical topic since 1877 to today.
Show how the topic you are dealing with explains or pertains to Historical Myths in Contemporary Public Discourse. Students will write an analysis about a "historical myth," that is used in contemporary public discourse. The myth I have chosen is that segregation did not take place in the North during the Civil Rights Movement.
