Developmental Psychology Initial Thoughts

Question

This week you will begin to plan the topics you would like to cover in your PowerPoint

with voiceover presentation and the media examples that you will use. To do so, please

utilize the template provided in Blackboard. In this template:

 For each developmental stage, list the domain of development you will focus on

for your project.

o Remember, the developmental domains are: physical, cognitive, social,

intellectual, personality, and emotional. You can pick whatever domain

you would like for each stage and repeat domains as you wish. For

example, you could highlight physical development in infancy and

intellectual development in early childhood. Or, you could choose to

highlight physical development in both infancy and early childhood. You

should pick the domain that you find most interesting and important for

each stage or the domain that you think you have the best illustrating

example for.

 Then, in the rightmost column of the template, list a possible media example that

you could use to illustrate your chosen domain for that particular developmental

stage. You might utilize a movie, song, TV show, book, etc.).
