Change Management from Start to Finish

You have been assigned PM responsibility for a product development project using untested cutting-edge technology that has the potential to disrupt the industry. The project owner will be the Mobile Devices Group. This project is part of the product R&D Department within a large, publicly traded company that is projectized and experienced in running projects. 

Respond to the following prompt in a minimum of 175 words: 

• Determine the project methodology you will use for this project. • Identify the EEFs and OPAs that you may be subject to on such a project. 

• While filling out the Risk section of the Project Charter, determine some risks that could affect this project. 

• Speculate as to this project’s gating process and identify who might be on the gating committee to move this project from the Initiating Phase to the Planning Phase.
