Provide an outline of the election process from the primaries (both parties) to the presidential election. cover the aftermath of the election to include the Trump court challenges to the election outcome. Conclude with the 2021 Capital Insurrection. Talk about the primary process (and types of primaries), Electoral College, and the presidential election.  Also talk (using Trump's legal challenges to his loss in the 2020 presidential election) about the role of the judiciary.  For instance, SCOTUS refused to hear the Texas lawsuit against those swing states that went to President Biden.  What allowed them to do that?
