African American Men and Community Service

Description

I have to write a 500-word essay on why it's important for African-American teens/men to commit or engage in community service.

FYI: I'm an 18-year-old African-American high school senior.  I'm a member of 2 different humanitarian, leadership, and academic organizations. In these organizations, I engage in different forms of community service like fundraise for scholarships, help the elderly, pack and deliver food at food banks. I plan to attend college and pursue a degree in Information Technology. Once I become gainfully employed, I will give back to my cmmunity by offering STEM Programs for kids and provide job opportuinites or training for adults.
